TOPIC: Do you think your type of body physiologically can effect how the pmma reacts?

I was wondering thoughts on a persons body type and stress levels and whether these have more potential to cause a negative reaction from PMMA.Why are some people fine and others are not?

For example I am a slight/skinny built man, i can get stressed quite easily..would this cause the PMMA to react differently to someone who is the opposite?Hmm

Stress levels can wreak havoc on your bodies ability to heal, so yes it could potentially cause a negative reaction to PMMA or even a cold or abrasion.

Stress can take years from your life, it\'s best to be calm and lower your stress to enhance your quality of life. I\'m supposed to get on a plane to see dr. C February 20th. So these accounts of negative reactions are weighing on me for sure, if anything I may opt for a lower amount of CC\'s and just slightly step up each round if needed. Not sure yet, I don\'t stress out so that\'s not an issue for me.

Unless the stress is derived specifically from your penis\'s Girth size (i.e. I started 3.5\" MSEG before PMMA), I would strongly recommend avoiding any kind of Phalloplasty if you are going through intense stress. And getting a procedure done will only compound that stress.

I\'ve noticed a correlation over the past many months of men getting Girth enlargement during or just after a major breakup or divorce. I can\'t speak for any one of them specifically, but I have a hunch the grief/stress of their situations may have caused them to pursue their PE endeavor prematurely.

Wait till you have a sound-state-of-mind before even reading these forums.Once you feel you have cleared up a significant amount of stress and are still interested in PE, do as much research as possible.Once you\'ve determined what method you wish to undergo, but sure you are prepared to accept the reality that complications can arise, and be prepared to deal with them if they do, both psychologically and monetarily.If you do undergo any procedure, please KEEP this forum abreast of your progress.

Yes i hear everything you are both saying and agree.My stress all my life I feel has been from feelling inadequate about my penis size,i\'ve even told this to a therapist a few years ago.Apart from the lack of confidence in this department, I am a fairly confident person who has a great life,great family,friends etc..apart from one thing..lacking the confidence for intimate encounters due to my penis size..after reading darks story though..it has worried me quite a bit,to have a deformed Dick is one thing, but to be in constant pain, would be much worse.It is a gamble and definetly something one has to weigh up before undergoing a procedure like this.

I have been stressed out ... I do believe it is related.

I also am a little neurotic about my health.

I don\'t know what to advise you... I can just tell you my experience, and what I\'m dealing with.

My doctors here in the United states won\'t give me a Kenalog shot for my penis, so it remains swollen.

They say it just masks the problem and it could cause other issues, like atrophy. See CHL\'s drudge report --- he also didn\'t take a Kenalog shot and ended up being fine. However, I think our symptoms are different... he had nodules, I have inflammation. We both had pain around the base of our penis however.

I take Pheno pills almost daily to help the penis pain.

The swelling ranges daily ... right now its about as good as it gets... the swelling never goes lower than this ... here are 2 pictures right now. (it may not look swollen but it is trust me)

I\'m also dealing with another medical issue. However, as my H.pylori is gone I should be on the road to recovery.. I\'m dealing with massive fatigue in the morning... and pain in my chest... I believe is due to the H.pylori... of course, here is where my neurotic brain comes into play... and I really wish I didn\'t have these voices in my head that tell me that all these health issues are related to PMMA, and my chest issue is related to plastic beads floating into my , and at any moment I\'ll fall over dead due to a lung embolism. That is what my brain tells me.. I\'m going to get psychological help from a professional on that one. However, I must say it does not help at all that both my urologist and my gastro entrologist both mentioned concern about possible and lung complications...

Anyways, for me to be sane, I must believe it\'s my stomach... & from my understanding it takes a long time for your stomach to heal.

Finally, remember that my problem started after I masturbated hard, and while delusional on ambien. So I\'m not really sure how rough I was ... but I remember i masturbated without being erect... which I guess is a really bad idea.

Oh about the pictures... It does look better than previous pictures... so I\'m hoping overtime this will continue to get better. Also, notice the white dot on the 1st picture on the right side of my penis... that was never there before this started happening... could that be PMMA? ... it feels like a bead under the skin... PMMA is white, right ... not clear?
