I think the main reasons a few guys have gone to Comacho is that he is much cheaper and uses the scrotal technique, which seems to leave a much better scar and means stretching can begin much earlier. However, the scrotal entry has be well known for many years, yet has never been adopted, not even by the guy who introduced it (Dr Whitehead). Given it's obvious benefits, it seems odd to me that no one in the US or Europe seem to use this approach and there has to be a good reason.
