TOPIC: Losing length after PMMA?

Although I haven\'t measured (I\'m afraid to measure anything until I\'m completely retired from PE, this is just a psychological defense mechanism against dysmorphic thoughts... measurements reinforce some irrational need to reach an arbitrary number created by deluded Girth enthusiasts from long ago on the internet PE scene), I suspect I have lost a little bit of Erect length, but with each passing procedure it was plainly obvious as to why - the sheer expansion in Girth appeared to tug up on the skin, giving it a shorter appearance, at least that is what it seems like for me. I\'m not alarmed, however, since I can see why this is happening and I feel that I can (& will) recover most (if not all) of this length when I start my stretching regimen. You\'ll get your length back. It hasn\'t gone anywhere. PMMA tissue is just collagen. It will stretch.

You don\'t need to worry and can stop \"semi-spamming.\" Also, there is little point worrying when you haven\'t really even attempted to get it back. If after 6 months of stretching, it hadn\'t come back, then I think it\'s fair to worry. But you seem to be stressing out that it hasn\'t come back, even though you haven\'t even tried to get it back.

Regaining length lost after surgery is a much quicker process than gaining new length. You\'ll get your old length back within a few weeks of stretching.

Can you use a noose style stretcher yet? Or, is that too painful?

I always got the length back within 2-3 weeks. But, I stretched it every day.

If the nodule at the base is attaching it to your body and preventing it from stretching, you should get a kenalog shot. Those shots can work unless the nodule is rock hard & then most likely 80% pmma and not going to be responsive to pmma (though those nodules tend to be smaller and more like pebbles). Putting 5fu in the injection will help it shrink as well. I had one on the underside of my shaft where no pmma was injected directly, so I assumed the nodule was going to be easier to dissolve with kenalog and 5fu unlike the entry points (which never responded and I had excised). The kenalog/5fu injections described below reduced it by two thirds, to the point it is not noticeable. It\'s still there but nowhere near as bad.

This was the schedule for a nodule of exactly the same size, though I could\'ve gone higher with kenalog than i did, but we were being cautious.

Yes, both Kenalog and 5fu are mixed in the same syringe with lidocaine if there is just one Nodule to inject. In a standard 1 mL (1cc) syringe, it doesn\'t even fill the whole thing up. It fills to the 0.4 line, roughly, which is enough to fill the Nodule without having it spill out.

You won\'t be able to do this yourself. 5fu is only available through a hospital pharmacy. It is used in chemotherapy (topical 5fu is for precancerous skin lesions - sold as efudex...definitely not for the penis). A Dermatologist can inject it. Kenalog is not as toxic to the body as 5fu, but it won\'t be sold outside of a hospital pharmacy or a distributor (directly to dermatologists or physician offices).

If I did this again, I\'d use Kenalog-40, which has less saline in it...so the Kenalog is less likely to spill out. you can still put in 2 mg, but it\'s not going to go in with so much saline (and possibly diffuse out of the Nodule)...unlike Kenalog-10 which is 90% saline. And, yeah, I got 1 white spot out of ~8 sites that I had Kenalog injected. It\'s gone now, though.

They use Kenalog 40...but I don\'t know how much they put in. Either strength can come out to the same dose. 0.1 cc of Kenalog 40 is 4mg...same as 0.4cc of Kenalog 10. You just need a very skilled person for either dose - and even with someone skilled, it can diffuse out into the tissue regardless. The Atrophy risk is theoretically higher with 40 because it is more concentrated, but 10 allows more Kenalog to diffuse out...so I\'m not sure. Kenalog-40 has a big warning label that it is not for subcutaneous use on it (it\'s supposed to be for allergy shots). But, dermatologists use it. I didn\'t want to use it at the time. I don\'t know if it would\'ve worked given how much PMMA there was vs. inflammation. It will stop inflammation - not really break up the PMMA.

Has anyone tried an extender RIGHT AFTER the injection to keep it healed in elongated state?

In fact, why can\'t Dr. C (or N.. whatever alphabet you can think of) inject while an extender is used? Wouldn\'t it make sense to fill the penis while it is stretched so can have an uniformed application of PMMA? Or, inject while penis is Erect?

I used the extender during the week of the procedure (starting on day 1) and never lost any length once the swelling went away. One time on the first day, I \"lost\" two inches Erect....due to swelling. By the 5th day it was normal and the same length as always - but I kept it in a noose stretcher while awake about 8 hours per day. I slept with the ESL 40 on.

The tissue that forms down the road is very fibrous collagenous tissue, so it appears I lost 1.5 cm in stretched Flaccid - my Urologist thinks the PMMA tissue has caused some lack of elasticity (it is leathery tissue inside there - like a scar) - however, Erect, I don\'t see that loss really. It\'s a little hard to measure precisely because I have some curve issues and now lost skin... but up until round 3 I didn\'t lose any.
