Well I would say it like this. For me personally IF I did have complications requiring attention personally I would go to Dr. C for it. But that\'s just because I am comfortable with him and feel like he would know what the best course of action would be.
The thing is... from what we know so far there are no Doctors in the USA or Canada who openly perform
PMMA procedures on the penis. If someone really didn\'t want to go to Dr. C (maybe they are angry with him or their results or don\'t like what he has to say... or they simply can\'t afford to fly out to San Diego / Tijuana) I think they should seek out a clinic /
Dermatologist which has experience with the
PMMA product. An FDA approved
PMMA does exist but it is very expensive so I doubt it is commonly used here in North America (vs botox and other fillers) so it might be hard to find dermatologists who you can really trust.
From what I have read here it does sound like other PE docs know of
PMMA and how it works and CHL in his drudge report mentioned a consultation with a
Urologist about
Removal of the
PMMA material. The doctor in his case said they could do it.
So short answer, personally I would go to Dr. C or another doctor who has experience with
PMMA.
Long answer... if you insist on not going to Dr. C or another Dr with penile
PMMA experience I would shop around and make sure that your
Dermatologist or
Urologist really knows how to deal with the situation at hand.
Probably a simple phone call or email or consultation would give you a better idea on whether or not your
Dermatologist can handle it... I would just hate to have a Dr. \"try\" to fix an issue that they have never dealt with before.
