Since my birthday is this upcoming Mon.. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. C for the upcoming Wed.

Problem is that my buddies just decided to surprise me by taking me to an all expense paid trip up to Lake Tahoe where we\'ll be going on all day hikes, mountain biking, and roughly a 6-7hr drive each way the Fri following the procedure until Sunday.

I felt no need to mention my appointment with Dr. C to my buddies before and would like to keep it that way. I\'ve tried to get out of the trip but they are not taking NO for an answer. I understand the PMMA is supposed to be fine after 2 days but I am a little worried since I will be unable to massage and checkup while up in the mountains near the guys. It\'ll probably be even more weird if I kept on disappearing for 5-10 minutes at a time. LOL.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

try to get another date with dr C instead ! tell him whats up he should understand, or maybe he will tell you that it is no problem 2 days afterwards.

anyways i would rather play safe.

I haven\'t had the procedure yet so I\'m sure others can speak to this with much more authority than me, but I\'d imagine the pounding your package would take mountain biking probably wouldn\'t be advantageous to the healing process. I agree with aesthetic-check with the doctor and see if you can reschedule.

I would absolutely reschedule your procedure date. Just went through it and I mountain bike as well and there is no way I would do that trip 48 hours post op!!!

I highly recommend rescheduling. For some, it can take as much as 3 days for the entry points to close... all while you could be subjecting yourself to strenuous conditions.
Or bail on the Lake trip.
Or fake an injury and play it super sedentary!
I echo the opinions of the above posters, you may want to reschedule if possible.

I might have to fake an injury because it was nearly impossible as it is to get the time off for the surgery the first time..

I convinced my buddies to let me stay home and catch up on some stuff I\'ve been needing to do instead. Pulling out my motor and getting the turbo kit off, moving in new roommates, etc.

Yeah dude, do whats more important to you.........your friends will always be there.........dont over exert yourself after getting the PMMA done. You dont wanna mess up a good thing which happens to be your penis.
