Length Surgery, Who Cuts What "Percent"? Are All Cuts The Same?? 12 years 10 months ago #1271851006

I don\'t know if any of you can help answer this, but I have noticed through some brief research of my own so far, that some doctors seem to cut more, or less of certain ligaments during a lengthening procedure than others. I have seen some doctors report they completely sever the suspensory ligament and only partially sever the others. For example. I wonder if the percentage of ligament severed makes a difference in gain potential for a guy who knows what he is doing with weights post op/healing time? Any takers?

I have read the same thing recently. It has to be the same guy, the gains are identical, and the operation sounds too similar. The guy I read about had all ligament structures removed. Apparently his surgeon has died, though.

I also read that he was extremely committed to his stretching routine, and that he worked from home on his computer which allowed him the convenience of stretching many hours throughout the day.

I feel the same way: if a surgeon is going to perform a lengthening operation why not remove all the ligaments while he is in there. Maximum length gain is what I\'m after, I don\'t give a shit about my Erection not standing up, it barely comes up to 90 degrees as it is.

In my opinion, unless the lig re-attached somehow or you formed some kind of scar tissue adhesion, there would be no point in a second snip-

Thanks. Therefore, once you cut it once, there is no point in cutting it again, right?

Picture the sus lig as it\'s attached to the pubic bone, and then picture pulling on the penis as you run a scapel down the pubis releasing the lig from the bone-

Dr Rosenthal basically scs the sus ligs off the pubic bone (had it done for those who don\'t know). I don\'t think he touches the fund ligs-

On top of that, lets remember that there are two ligs, the suspensory and the fundiform. Which of them do they cut and why? And how much? Do they cut it through or do they just \'slice\' it so it can \'stretch\'?

I have read of one guy that had his ligs cut the whole way through & seared at the ends so they could never attach themselves again. From what I read, it takes a lot longer of a surgery to get in there & do the job right. The guy also stretched & hung weights & gained 2 inches in Erect state.........
I could never understand why they only cut just a little but of the lig........im assuming so you still have an angle for Erection but if you go in for the lig cut because you want a bigger penis & you are paying for it, why cant the doctor sit you down & explain to the patient exactly what is possible & what happens if you want the whole lig cut or just a part of it.

Yea man I hear ya. As an example, I\'ve seen at least one Dr. who supposedly cuts \"90%\". Whatever that means. I wonder if it really makes any difference though in gain potential for someone like myself who is going to actually hang weights post op and has the experience I do? It\'s not something I\'m doing tomorrow, or even next month. I\'m just doing homework.

From what little I know so far, it seems like the top aka the \"suspensory\" ligament is the main target during lengthening surgery anyway.

I also wonder who and how they make that decision. To the best of my knowledge, its something they DONT ask the patient. I talked to one of those doctors years ago and he told me that on his previous lig cut surgery he had cut \'too much\', then the guy had a larger penis but experienced some difficulties later. Suffice to say I didnt bother to go back to this doctor afterwards. I hope someone gives us some clue.

@ BIG MEAT
Maybe there needs to be at least a couple of ligaments attached unless you\'d like a removable unit? LOL
