In your DRUDGE Report Thread - you wrote:
\"let me post some personal data b4 i\'m nailed to a Stauros.\"
I think you have gotten the impression that the collective PMMA bunch here is likely to reject your musings, let alone a full blown progress report. This is not true. And if it were remotely true, myself and all the Moderators will not tolerate anything in violation of forum rules, which assuredly protects your right to a progress report.
So if you have any reservations or hesitations, rest assured that a legitimate progress report (in its entirety) will be received much like every other progress report. Many men here on the fence ought to get a bigger picture of the risks involved.
If you\'d like to start a thread now, I can have it locked for you so that you can complete it without any breaks/interruptions from other posters. When it is all complete, we can open it up for dialog. Please let me know, we should do this sooner than later.
@ndbig1 & miricale7
I wouldnt switch around and stay with whatever Dr. i started it. Unless there would be somthing terribly wrong going on.
Are Passy and Casavantes even using the same filler brand ?
A good thing we can do with this forum is, showing the Doctors that theres a place where they arent beeing touched with velvet gloves.
Which would mostly be efficient, in keeping Docs away who arent really intending in helping us. (not refering to ANY special doctor)
The members of the forum seem to be well educated in communication leading to useful information, which makes this forum so awesome and of course the free speech, weather good or bad towards the diffrent procedures outcomes.
So we are already on a good way.
I definately have the desire of Lukes wish for transparacy and not beeing too soft on Doctors in general. (still fair of course)
As you can see CHL some of us are very curious about your upcomming continuing report.
Would be cool if you could divide the part of your very personal expierience outcome, ongoing developement and the theoretic part. Of course anytime you want to do it, but do it ;D
Greedy is relativ, i think its ok to look where that raise comes from, and if the reasons given are realistic, what maybe should be optimised before a raise and dsicuss all that stuff right here
Many forum member have been able to contact me via e-mail since the interests i created. Via telephone & via text and also via recommendation by other forum member & the ones who\'ve contacted me have told me that they\'ve benefited from my experience. I\'ve shared with them my photos & data, i\'ve been more than forthcoming with my presence here but my time is very limited, i don\'t log in every day, i try but i don\'t. Many folks even update me via e-mail about what\'s happening on the forum, these are loyalties that i value. i do not live & breath this forum, i don\'t have to remind anyone of the nature of my outside commitments, i\'m actually trying to improve this world with what people may consider life saving research, i\'ve talked about it more than once with a handful of members. if i could do PMMA research, and get paid, i\'d consider it. You have my number SO, i\'ve encouraged you to call me several times via e-mail. The invitation is still open. sometimes my time here on the forum is limited; i\'m a per diem clinician, as a Neonatal Respiratory Therapists & my little patient\'s parents benefit more from one on one conversations with me about their child\'s health, i feel folks are more receptive that way & some things are better deliberated via a phone conversation or face to face than via a forum. Even when i read the stuff that i write it sounds like a cocky attitude, i don\'t like that about myself, but its in my programing, when folks talk to me they realize i\'m much nicer & trusting.
The numerous members who\'ve contacted me would agree with my statements. I\'m being trained to think & study like a scientist, i would not deliver something to this website that reflects poorly upon my professional/academic character. If i write a report; its would be the same quality that i\'d give to my research advisor. Reports are time consuming, i\'m not getting paid for this, it is my pleasure to help good folks, so i can\'t give an exact date of when it will be finished. But if i start now, it\'ll be like what this kid from the ally commercial says:
\"its a piece of junk\", it\'ll be informative, but a piece of junk in my humble opinion.
Class has resumed for me, but by my e-mail and phone number i can try to make myself available to trusted friends of the forum, PMMA is a big commitment & i\'m here to help. Why don\'t you consider chatting with a fellow mod, he\'s benefited from my forthcoming friendship & explicit updates, talk to him. I like you SO, but we\'d be better off enjoying the company of a good beer than to sometimes discuss PMMA.
(Open to Forum members) For inquiries please PM me & i\'ll do my best to address your questions just as trusted members like EP have done for me. Some have already contacted me, i haven\'t forgotten about you. If you live in LA, the OC, or SD feel free to ask for a phone conversation, friday evenings are my best days if i\'m not on a date or taking a nap. Sorry to some of my Aussie friends for late replys.
Cheers friends
@CHL
I wasn\'t trying to start any sort of debate. And I know you obviously have commitments beyond this forum, as we all do. However, this does not prevent you from starting a progress report. We can keep it locked so no one else interrupts, allowing you a smooth & seamless report. The first post can outline the basics of your journey and any outstanding issues (something that wont be time-intensive). All remaining posts can come in due time, that way you can be sure it has the quality you expect of your own work - in whatever time window you need.
I\'m essentially trying to encourage you to get the ball rolling. If you change your mind and wish not to submit a report, that is up to you. But if you do intend on informing our community, please do so substantively... rather than vague posts that describe some of our members as \"sheep,\" \"fundamentalists,\" and \"nihilists.\"
I\'m sorry but I couldn\'t have expected everyone to know you were available to answer questions if you didn\'t already choose to address them publicly.
Dude, you\'ve just written 9 paragraphs! Couldn\'t you have done that in a brief progress report? You managed it to do so after your first PMMA session. We\'d just like to get an idea of what has happened to you. I don\'t want to come across as rude, but you\'ve found time to explain why you don\'t have time and you\'ve found time to share photos etc with guys who have been in email contact. Of course you aren\'t obligated to share with the forum and I guess a few of us having a dig at you for not doing so isn\'t going to make you feel like you want to do us any favours, but I\'d really urge you just to write a few paragraphs and update your progress thread. We don\'t need to know about all the research you\'ve been doing if you don\'t feel you have the time to write something of a standard you\'d be happy with. But in the same way you gave us some brief details and posted photos of your first session and recovery, couldn\'t you do the same for your second?
it\'s a professional service, and he is in business to make money! if you look at simple supply and demand, it\'s not that hard to tell one of the reasons why price is going up. I\'d also be willing to bet the prices he was charging compared to market value of doing it were quite low, and compared to Dr. Samy, they are. Seems for procedure alone Samy is >4000$ and even with the big price increase Casavantes is ~2500. Granted they are different injectables, etc etc but the general everything could be considered about the same.
another thing to consider is skill and experience. as time goes on and one gets more proficient in a certain skill don\'t they expect to get paid more? I know I sure do!
his price increase sure makes me consider going the Dr. Samy more, though I am more so concerned about outcomes vs. price. No matter who is charging more if it is a somewhat marginal amount in relation to everything else I\'m going to go with the one that I\'m going to be more satisfied with, even if it costs more.
@ndbig1,
I have great news for you after you have mentioned that the price ( $ 3,700 ) for 30cc\'s @30% by Dr. Samy Passy \"which I think it is too much\", I have sent him an e-mail and asked him if he can reduce his price because these guys have heard about my experience (penile PMMA bioplasty) with you and they are willing to visit you and get the PMMA injection, he accepted my offer and his price for 30cc\'s @30% will be only $ 3,000 .
I just want everyone to know I will never convince anyone to get the PMMA injection by any specific doctor, I have always said both these doctors have great experience in PMMA injection in general and not only in penile PMMA .
I will post a new thread in regard my experience with Dr. Samy Passy and I will be very honest about my experience with him and the 30% Metacrill.
If location wasn\'t an issue I might have opt for Dr. S instead. Since I live only a couple hours away from San Diego, it really saves me a lot of money with plane ticket costs and etc. I added everything up, I could go in for 3 more sessions with Dr. C and the total amount would as much as traveling to RDJ+Procedure.
I am curious if Dr C also increased his follow-up session costs? I need to go in for session two, which I delayed to allow the lesser concentration PMMA he injected time to kick into collagen production, it seems that it takes a bit longer. Now I wonder if the cost is still at $80 per CC at the second session or if there is a major change in pricing? Thanks for any info about this.
