TOPIC: PMMA price increase

I had a PMMA procedure yesterday using the new canules and insertion protocol. Wade indicated that due to increased costs of post treatment supplies and the to offset the cost of new canules, they would be raising the cost to $1750. Honesty guys, I think it\'s a modest increase and well deserved, judging by the level of success they\'ve had compared with other methods. If these guys were Elist they\'d have it up to $3000. Just a heads up...

I am still personally leary about posting pics (although I may), but I would like to share that the procedure was entirely painless (unless you cry when stung by a mosquito) and the level of care and attention to detail was superb. Dr. C make an interesting pair when they work together - feelin some synergy there. When I asked Dr. what the PMMA would feel like, he said \'here, feel my tricep\'. Would have never known. The fact that both of them have extensive PMMA speaks to the confidence they themselves have.
My results appear very similiar to M7\'s. I wound up with 21+cc at 10%, although I think he periodically \'called\' for 20%. My initial Aesthetic is excellent, although admittedly it looks as though there is a slight ...uhmmmm... \'pucker\' (?) in that ring area. Oddly it is not at the circ scar but just behind it. I\'m assuming I will develop an indentation partially around at that point. So not quite visually \'perfect\' I don\'t think, but a big improvement over alloderm look. No biggie. I will decide on another procedure several months from now after this one follows it\'s course.
I am initially very happy, time will tell.

Funny you caught that part- about the cell phone. I actually left my cell phone (droid) and a submersible/underwater camera ($600) sitting on the dash of the shuttle van. I pretty much figure I was screwed- that\'s like putting candy in ...something.I asked Christian to call the shuttle. They acknowledged having it (honestly, i was shocked), and returned it to me on my return shuttle. I tipped him for his honesty- told him to take the wife out for dinner.

I can\'t tell if my slight indent is a \'ring-thing\' or just uneven swelling dissipation. I don\'t think I swelled very much at all. totally forgot a tape measure, but I could not fit entirely into my jsextender stretching device (Flaccid). I was afraid to keep it on to long as it was pinching the base material. I took a pic I might share in which I rub against both rails on either side almost the whole length of the extender at full extension (7\"+). I\'m gonna guess I\'m at about .75 or so in mid Girth gain. After swelling I\'m not sure what might happen- I\'m happy either way.
I will wait a minimum of two months before even considering another procedure.
P.S.- I was gonna say \'hello\', but honestly I think we were both a couple nervous nellies and I wouldn\'t want to violate anyone\'s anonymity. Oh, and you\'re plenty handsome, but not my type. I\'m dating Kim Kardashian\'s stunt double. And I do mean double (bubble)...

I\'m with Rondo...I wouldn\'t mess with perfection...As you probably recall, we had a fellow board member a few months ago (can\'t remember the name off the top of my head) who went back the next day and had more PMMA injected...He\'s one of the only PMMA patients on this board that has seemed to have any big issues post op...

Advice taken. I\'m so happy anyway. Judging by the pioneers before me, I\'d say I\'ll get an Inch. Rondo... I\'d forgo the stretcher. You\'re right on the money regarding anonymity. Dr. C and Wade said the growth from 20% is a good bit higher. I got 2 cc\'s of 10% and 21 @ 20%. Looking really good this morning. Wade said I\'d definitely see an Inch. I\'ll be back in January. Perhaps we can meet up and actually \"converse\" next time. Wade and Dr. C. also said I look more like twenty something and no the 38 that I am. That was reassuring considering they are immortal. LOL
