At the end of the day, if fat transfers have been perfected, then why is there a multi billion dollar cosmetic filler industry?

Yeah I was bummed - part of the deal was that he could not take charge for his services for 5 years. It also looks like his license was revoked in Penn from that article but I can\'t tell for sure. I still can\'t believe there are so few options in NYC.
I emailed Dr. C for the price schedule for Ellanse.
Lexus, I know that Mirza in NYC does Bellafill as it was offered to G.J. but on his first visit to him Mirza said that he experienced lumping issues with it.
On the second visit he suggested GJ try it but GJ insisted on Boletero.
I would check the board about Guinta\'s FFT - I think there are some unhappy people with it. It leads to lumping and uneven absorption in a lot of people. I read that the \"new perfected technique\" of spinning the fat can lead to damaged fat cells the impairs blood supply so it is not so perfected at all. I would love to hear from people that had it 5-8 years ago and are happy with it. Maybe they are out there. If you pursue that see if he will hook you up with a long term patient or 2. That is not so unusual, but first check this board.
I did read a review by a guy that had it and it was a disaster - and he happened to overlap with a guy that had the same procedure the same day. They exchanged numbers and he called to see if he was doing any better and the guy was in the same boat - it became fibrotic and lumpy. Sorry to be A Debbie-Downer, lol.

This is interesting as I always thought that Dr Heller had had a serious illness, as someone, either on the old PB or MNS, tried to make an appointment to see him a few years ago and was told he was \"ill\" and wont be taking patients for the foreseeable future! It was was obviously BS and he was just serving a suspension.

I did some research on Heller as I was getting close to going to him and I saw that his medical license was revoked by NJ for fraud and possibly Penn? I can\'t tell but it is not inspiring. He said he was a plastic surgeon but according to health grades he is certified only in Eyes, Ears and Throat (Otolaryngology) although he lists Plastic Surgery as a specialty but with no certification.

The other red flag was that I read 2 reviews questioning whether the fillers were legit as there was 0 difference before and after, and he didn\'t open the packets in front of the patients.

He also lists himself as a founding member of American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery which takes you to a website saying it\'s nonprofit license was revoked and nothing else;and a founding member of another organization that does not exist, at least on the internet - New Jersey Cosmetic Surgery Society.

He also told me that he does more Phalloplasty than any other Dr. in the US which I was willing to believe/or not - but he just got his license back in 2013 once he fulfilled his suspension according to the court docs that I read.

He may have been practicing in another state, it was dense legal speak and I had a hard time following. I\'d also be curious to know why the need to mix fillers...if I were to take a guess, maybe it\'s to keep the overall cost of the filler manageable... since if Bellafill has retained the pricing from Artefill, it can be very expensive per cc. Just a guess, not sure if there are other benefits of mixing a permanent & temporary filler.

Just a heads up.If your plan to have Bellafill injected it is a must to have a test patch done because you my not tolerate it and your in bad shape i you have injected totally not your self... Read on the website for the product name it explain about being tested before injecting it. I talked to Dr M and he denied the test is required...... BE ON ALLERT READ THE SITE Bellafill.

For the moment I\'m not pursuing any surgery. I\'m glad I waited out on PMMA, it seems to be not a great solution, plus more importantly (for me) I think I might marry the girl I\'m with now and she\'s very small down there, so enhancement would make it just silly.

Any updates on dr hellers procedures?
