Where did you read that Aquamid was easily removed? From this description, it sounds similar to other perm fillers:

Similar to other facial fillers, there have been reported cases of inflammation, nodule and granuloma formation, and delayed hypersensitivity reactions. In some instances, surgical extraction of the polyacrylamide product was necessary to correct the adverse event of nodule formation.

So what would make "surgical extraction" easier in this case?

Hi Dr Oates I've just been browsing the Internet and looking at a comparison of permanent fillers.
Ive been reading about a filler called Aquamid, in one of the articles it states that this filler can be quite easily removed. It also states that it doesn't react with human tissue, that it's biocompatible and doesn't require an allergy test. Do you know anything about the safety of this product and it's suitability for Phalloplasty?
There is also a Korean PMMA brand I came across called Layun, it's Dextran mixed with 13% PMMA. Have you read any articles about Dextran or know how safe it is?

It says somewhere in the article that Aquamid 'can be removed if necessary' it isn't a scientific publication though, more of an opinion piece so probably a load of BS
