There are a lot of little botox boutiques that happen to have legal off-label access to some FDA-approved fillers, but it in no way makes them experts on injectable
Phalloplasty in any meaningful way. In fact, we had a Clinic from Denver recently respond to some criticisms about its filler options, and the representative told us we'd get their physician's answers to our questions early last week but still crickets... I feel like it would be imperative for their Doctor to chime in asap (much like his representative did), if it means to correct the record on what otherwise might be open-ended questions of efficacy and ethics... did they realize that the silence would be more deafening? This Denver outfit may just be another one of "those" clinics I'm alluding to ( :: shoulder shrug :: ).
I should make clear that I'm not suggesting all cosmetic clinics & med spas are untrustworthy when it comes to
Girth enhancement, and in fact some of the best injection skills I've seen come from this domain. However, that's a generous "some" I'm referring to, and from what I've seen both on the forums (and more so via PMs/Emails), these
random, possibly
fly-by-night programs generally aren't your best bets; rule of thumb, you should try and find their more broader services (male or female) and find their Reviews & Before/After's to at least get an idea of some degree of proficiency if you're going to take the gamble. Otherwise stay with the
tried & true.
That said, if you are competing any
PhalloFILL affiliate -vs- the field (of "no-namers"), you'd be pretty cavalier with your one and only penis to pursue the latter, mostly because the former (i.e.
PhalloFILL) has a history of physicians employing their protocol around the country with using a filler with arguably the strongest safety profile (
Hyaluronic Acid /
HA). If the clinic purports to be using the
PhalloFILL technique, then there is a good chance you're getting a structured program built around the
PhalloFILL Dallas guidelines.
I should also point out that I have no idea which
PhalloFILL you are referring to, and that
only the PhalloFILL Dallas (Main Hub) sponsor the PhalloBoards. All other PhalloFILL affiliates have not been vouched for, and therefore are not endorsed; nevertheless, I say this all because I want to make clear this isn't a
PhalloFILL promotional post, it's meant to demonstrate how little standardization & oversight there is in this field, and why selecting the right Provider matters so much.
PhalloFILL has a method that's been endorsed by Urologists (among other Physicians) across the country and you are paying for
a standardization in a field that lacks formal standardization, and that goes a long way toward a successful result.
No procedure is without risk, but taking short cuts due to costs on your one and only penis is not worth it if you can't vouch or verify the practitioner. That said, this is an information exchange and others with info on this clinic is free to share.
