TOPIC: Has anyone here had PMMA removed?

Has anyone here had PMMA removed? 5 days 5 hours ago #1308725455

I know it’s not recommended but I want it gone. I’m 4 sessions in and the bumps, lumps, ridges are totally unnatural. The unevenness, the hard spots. It just doesn’t seem like PMMA is right for my body. The last 2 sessions made absolutely no difference, it seems like my body just removed the PMMA, no collagen production.

Has anyone had theirs removed? If so, how much did it cost? Where did you go?

I wouldn't recommend, I would say check with @atxguy but he had silicone oil which causes a bunch of issues.

I would imagine you would end up with similar results to him if you tried to remove it.

Try Dr. Leonardo with HA filler: phalloboards.info/forum/progress-reports...or-pmma-patient.html

His website and results are pretty even. I went to Avanti and got PMMA and results were pretty even, but HA filler although temporary, smooths things out I guess.

I had 80 perc of mine removed back in 2018. I originally had 12 cc Bellafill. My doc was Dr Gelman at UCI. I know Rejuvall removes it as well. It is not possible to remove 100 perc due to its integration into the tissue

absolutely would not recommend PMMA. The silicone oil also is something that will bind to your skin and it’s not a matter of scraping it out like they would even silicone. That basically turns your skin into leather is when Dr. told me.
My last procedure was PMMA/silicone oil combo. Very effective in getting size, but I had so many little what I called skittles and painful nodules and it was really awful. I had initially five of those early but ended up with close to 30 skittles and nodules and granuloma, etc. and that’s one reconstructive surgeon tried to remove it and catastrophe.

in terms of cost, insurance covered most of it. The emotional toll though is staggering. And the loss of quality of life, etc. If you can make it work, I would try for that. I was told when I had it injected will Kenalog. And then when I asked them to do that, they said it wouldn’t work. So I’ve had five more surgeries to try to clean up the disastrous main surgery to remove it and I’ve spent about 20 K plus with the Removal and the other five surgeries. And we’re still not done.
Oddly, we are now using Kenalog to reduce the remaining granulomas. Feel free to recharge if you want to more detail and maybe go over to my profile and look at the topics related to it. PMMA and silicone oil Bert stupidest things I’ve ever done in my life. I trusted the wrong person with that filler procedure and I trusted the wrong person to remove it.

Inflammation, pain, granuloma, 2 spot of erosion due to steroid shots, generally feeling I wanted it out

Ok, I have posted pics a few months back. 7.5 length x 6.5/7 Girth Erect, 6 x 6 Flaccid. Some contour irregularities but decent. My original before was much better

How much did your Removal cost?

Are your aesthetics better now after Removal than with the PMMA?

I wish I waited longer to decide to be honest. I had placed in Oct of 2018 and had removed June of 2019. I just freaked and was really worried.

My pre Removal measurements were 7.5x7.5. Removal is aggressive. No other way to say it. I think I have slightly more swelling than before Removal. Some lymphatics may have been damaged. Not much though. Aesthetics are acceptable now.

Oh, the Removal was 60 k with Gelman. Insurance covered all but 4 k.

That's wild- those are the measurements I'm trying to achieve, did you post any pictures before you had it removed? I'm always trying to gauge if I should get more probably up to 7in girth but not so much that my penis looks like a traffic cone. I would never get anything removed unless somehow you got silicone oil. Even if I ended up like this guy: www.reddit.com/r/gettingbigger/comments/1usg59j/whats_injected/

So aesthetics are definitely better after Removal?

Did you have to travel for the Removal or was the doctor nearby for you? Think a local doctor could do it or find someone who’s done it before?

How bad and how long was recovery?

Aesthetics were prob better before Removal, however I feel removing was better for my health. Before Removal contour was smoother and more uniform. After, there are some contour issues. Slight but there.
About Removal doc, the only use one that has had a ton of experience and one that is a reconstructive Urologist. Gelman or Carney would be my two immediate choices. Most docs have no idea what they r getting into.
