TOPIC: Medamor: a clinic in Toronto that offers PMMA

Living in Canada, I did a quick search to see if there were some clinics that offered PMMA injections, and I found this clinic: Medamor Healthmedamorhealth.com . Their webpage dedicated to penis enlargement says that they offer 4 types of filler: hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).

So I decided to contact them by email and here's the info I got from Fardis Khazaeli MD, who's the executive manager of the clinic:

-they do offer PMMA injections, but mixed with HA;
-the injections are performed using multiple syringes in the superficial (subcutaneous) plane;
-they can do glans augmentation with the same combination of filler, but they don't recommend it;
-they don't have before / after pictures, but since their clients never returned for retouch, they don't have these photos, and those clients "were all satisfied with the results".

I think it's great that a Canadian clinic is finally offering PMMA injections, and I might be interested in that instead of going back to Tijuana for round 2, but at the same time, it's a bit of a gamble since we don't have any information about the results or how satisfied their customers really are.

I just looked at their website, and it states "These injections may include hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres inside them. It can also be a combination of two products." That is a big red flag. The fact that they say "may include" and "can also be a combination of two products" and don't ever name the brand name of what they are using tells me this is a silicone oil injection clinic.

It also raises major concerns that they do not have ANY before and after pictures, and that they are claiming that all of their patients were totally happy and never needed a retouch. Even we know that a 100% success rate is incredibly uncommon for any enhancement clinic. I'm also very concerned that they are performing glans augmentation in the first place, ESPECIALLY with anything other than HA. That is a recipe for disaster.

Finally, there is zero information on their website about WHO is performing these procedures. Are they a urologist? Or even a dermatologist, plastic surgeon, primary care physician? Are they board certified? What kind of training have they had in penile anatomy and function, if any?

I'm very sorry to say, but our recommendation would be to stay very far away from this clinic.
