TOPIC: Loria removal

Loria removal 3 weeks 15 hours ago #1308722015

Well, I’ve posted a few times here over last several months.

So I’ll make this brief.

I’ve been having inflammation, pain since last November. Sometimes it’s swells up, sometimes I get burning, tearing pains in my shaft and shooting pains to glans/head. Sometimes it gets difficult to pee.

So I’ve talked with a few local urologists and had video consults with other Dr’s. All said my skin looks great. Which is good news. I also had an ultrasound and there is no migration. The ultrasound basically said I have several “cysts” which I’m assuming are nodules, granulomas.

I have a date set for surgery. They will make a Circumcision incision and get out as much silicone as possible and also get rid of some sagging skin.

I’m not exactly looking forward to this. To be honest, I’m quite pissed off. I’ve seen this posted many times already but Dr.Loria ensured me I was getting “collagen” injected. There was never a single mention about silicone, not once. It was all collagen and I guess I assumed collagen is something already in our bodies so I strongly felt it was the safest way of doing things. Now, I need surgery to remove it before it causes more serious issues.

I don’t wanna be dealing with this when I’m 50, 60, or older. Right now, I just want it out, hoping my pains go away and things heal well.

I’ve talked with a few others that had Removal, some seem wild and some didn’t seem all that bad. If anyone has had Removal and wishes to talk, please reach out.

I’m just hoping things go well, I heal well, and can move on. I personally feel once this junk is removed I will see an improvement in my overall health.

There risks to this which makes me nervous. Skin Necrosis, infection, need for a skin graft are all worst case scenarios. My surgeon says I have a small chance of any of that happening since my skin pulls away from the silicone and appears to be rather healthy. Regardless, it makes me nervous.

Wish me luck.

I'm terribly sorry for not commenting on this sooner, I had it read it (I get all posts via email) but hadn't gotten a chance to reply (thanks TBCGN for bumping this thread).

Wishing you the best of luck, and I too will bump this for those former Loria patients who want to reach out (remember, you can click on the Member's username to see their profile, and find the "Send Private Message" function).
