3 weeks after my 2nd round, its on the left base of my shaft, like a shelf that pokes out.

Is this dangerous or can I wait until my 3rd round to inject Kenalog?

It could actually be a "shelf" or "ridge," anomalies less common than nodules. I'd know, I had one my self, and with some minor Revision & time, has been gone for well over a decade now.

That said, it could be a granuloma, but you'll want to have that diagnosed on your next visit. I wouldn't be alarmed based on your photos alone, unless:
  1. You had it performed by a non-Sponsor, because I can't vouch for whether or not they are using unapproved fillers or filler mixes which may have a higher incidence of granuloma formation.
  2. This area presents new symptoms or worsens in any of these following ways: pain, swelling, continued growth, reddening, and the appearance of other "shelf-like" features on the shaft.

Not to say that either of those two bullet-points are dangerous in the traditional sense, but would warrant reaching out to your Provider. Looking through your post history, it seems like you went with a trusted Provider in Avanti Derma, so you most certainly have medical grade PMMA injected, that is good news. This does not absolve your situation of the granuloma-risk, but it is good to know you were performed on by an ethical provider.

Secondly, the pictures remind me so much of my own "shelf" which I had toward the bottom of my shaft just above the Balls, and it wasn't a "dangerous" thing for me at all. This is why I think that if this aesthetic irregularity doesn't worsen (like in ways I outlined in the 2nd bullet-point above), you're fine waiting till your next appointment assuming it's not too far out. If you need additional reassurances, you can reach out to Avanti Derma, because my advice is coming from personal experience and not meant to be interpreted as Medical Expertise.

Thank you for the response. Yes, I'd say shelf / ridge accurately describes what this looks like. And mine is in the same area as yours, at the bottom of the shaft just above the left ball. Did a Kenalog shot take care of it for you as well?

Ian emailed me to say I can just wait until my 3rd round to get a Kenalog shot. I am obviously mainly concerned about health risk - if there's none, there's no problem. Once I'm Erect the rest of the penis fills up the area around the shelf so that it's barely noticeable, so at least it won't be noticed easily by women.

I don't believe any Kenalog was used, it was a couple of Revision appointments and time to be honest. I think worst case scenario would be a granuloma (which can be treated and isn't an imminent danger to your health per-se), but it really does awfully look like, described like, and located where my own "ridge/shelf" was. Patience is your best friend here to be honest. It just may take a bit longer than preferred to get it all squared away.
