TOPIC: Dr.Loria concerns

I had gotten 2 injections back in 2015 from Dr.Loria. I think like most other threads I’ve seen, I was under the assumption it was collagen. I now know it wasn’t but I’m also not 100% what was used back then.

This may get kind of long.

All the way up til last November I had no issues. It didn’t look the prettiest but I never had any issues whatsoever. Just a little uneven. To be honest I figured someday I’d go back and even it out. However, I’ll never inject anything ever again. I’ll tell you why.

Last September, just 2 months prior to having issues I started TRT, my testosterone levels were below 300 and just wanted some spark back. Immediately after the first shot I had to pee constantly. Like every 10 minutes. Then early November I started getting erections that were rock hard. At first I thought it was great. Having sex 2-3 times a day with the wife and life was good.

Mid November I woke up with some slight pain in my groin. Above my penis in the crease. I thought I pulled a muscle or something. The next day the pain was deeper, above my penis. There was no pain in my penis just above but by the end of the week the pain moved down into my penis. Doctors said I had prostatitis. Prescribed me antibiotics and said if it don’t get better in 48 hours to go back in. Well after 48 hours the pain was pretty bad and at this point, it was above my penis, in my penis shaft, my testicles all the way back to my anus. Which, sounded like prostatits to be honest and I do think it could have been. Anyways, they gave me IV antibiotics and I slowly started feeling better. And I mean slowly.

The last month I’ve hardly noticed any pains at all to be honest. Life has been great.

I did notice the “filler” didn’t look the same in my penis like it had moved around but I didn’t think much of it.

Last week I got some really devastating news about a family member and I’ve been extremely stressed out.

The pain slowly came back in my penis. And now, it’s only in my penis for the most part. A little in my inner thighs.

The pain is hard to describe, almost burning but not a real burn. My urine stream is weak. And I definitely feel the lee traveling through the urethra.

After researching this forum I’m thinking the injections could perhaps be inflamed?

I have a consult with Dr. Solomon on Tuesday. Looking around he seems like a good option if I decide to remove it.

Has anyone had success removing Dr.Lorias injections? I’ve seen a bunch of threads and a few talking about it but no one that actually a success doing it.

My main purpose is if it’s gonna act up when my body is stressed obviously my body is telling me it doesn’t want it in there. I do regret getting them. To be honest I don’t think they made much of a difference. I got a little thicker, uneven penis.

I am taking anti inflammatorys, quercetin, liposomal apegenin, lipo p.e.i, lipo curcumin and vitamins and aspiring does help the discomfort.

I guess my main concern is I don’t want these injections to ruin my actual penis. Obviously if there’s some pain and discomfort it’s prolly not good.

Any insight from anyone that has had them removed would be appreciated.

To be fair, as much as I dislike Loria's methods, I would have to trust the original diagnosis of prostatitis -- especially given the testicular & anal pain. It's easy to dump on Loria knowing his current & past affairs with penis enlargement, but it's one of those few times I can say that it might not actually be the silicone injections (but I can't know for sure).

Also with a quick internet search, it appears chronic prostatitis is a real thing, and this has to be considered too.

In other words, this needs the examination from a Urological Surgeon, not a Plastic Surgeon. While Dr. Solomon is every bit capable of removing the silicone, I would recommend someone who not only has done Loria removals & repairs, but has the requisite qualifications (discerning between prostatitis being the cause of your shaft and/or silicone inflammation, or whether the silicone filler itself is the primary culprit), and only one place comes to mind: Morganstern Urology ( @Rejuvall ). Again, this is not a knock on Dr. Solomon, he's been a reputable physician in the area of repairing phalloplasty botches, but your situation and the treatments involved require even more specialization.

For many patients, if the silicone filler is not the problem, and instead you need treatment of (what could potentially be chronic) prostatitis, filler removal would be a needless procedure -- however I'm not a Medical Professional and this is my opinion obtained through following the online PE scene for 20 years and Administrating the only site devoted to the topic of male phalloplasty for 15 years... as the old adage goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it! In other words, the unnecessary removal of the silicone may open you up to a host of new possible complications -- the removal has to be justified. Someone with as much (if not more) intimate knowledge of Loria's methodologies combined with a Urological background are the guys to see... and frankly there are only so few, and it would be Dr. Carney of Morganstern Urology you should be contacting.

I would recommend going through with your consultation with Dr. Solomon if it's already been set & booked, it doesn't hurt to get his opinion because technically, he's generally qualified, but you absolutely should get an additional opinion from the team at Morganstern Urology for a more specialized qualification in terms of consultation & possible solution(s). I should make clear I get no commission making this recommendation, and in fact act see myself as the de facto Patient Representative in these situations. What good would this forum be if the information available lacked merit or legitimacy? Thank you for the reply. I’ve been reading and following your talks here for the last couple days.

So I did see my Urologist, and I told him I was concerned about one of the bumps at my base and he wasn’t concerned at all. But he also isn’t familiar with fillers. When I showed him he said, “so that’s what it looks like when you have that procedure done”. lol. But he didn’t seem concerned. He did tell me there is surgeries to remove it if I wanted to.

I know I have an odd case here because prostatits causes penis pain.

I’ve also been thinking perhaps the prostatits had caused the filler to inflame.

Getting in to see the Urologist here isn’t easy. Literally the next available appointment is August. So I been researching on my own.

The good news is when I get erections, the pain goes away. After sex, I feel fine for awhile before the pain/discomfort comes back. I was just fine for the last month but I haven’t been sleeping well and beyond stressed out about the news of a family member. I’m really trying to manage the stress because I know stress causes inflammation.

I just don’t know enough about the “filler” to know if indeed it is the problem or not. But if there is inflammation in the filler, in theory inflammation can be managed? And I also think if it was the filler, the pain wouldn’t just go away or get better.

But again, I guess I just don’t know enough. I’ve been researching and reading as much as I can here and I appreciate the reply.

I want to chime in that I think @Skeptical_One is offering you sound advice. Many things can cause the pain you are describing. I would not immediately jump to removal of the Loria product. Seek the care of a trusted urologist maybe even consider more than one opinion. Hoping this all resolves well for you. Dr. S

I’m also wondering if it is the filler, perhaps a Nodule or granIlona, it sounds like that is something that can be maintained and perhaps fixed with steroids or anti inflammatorys?

I feel like everything still looks good. Like I mentioned above it’s a little uneven and I do some filler that accumulated on the under side but it’s been that way since day 1. I always figured if I wanted it to look more pleasing I could get a touch up or another injection. But I never really cared as much to do so. I’m married and the wife is just fine with what I have. And to be honest, I don’t plan on injecting anything again. I was at first under the impression it was very minimal and very minimal risks which it kinda was but it sounds absolutely crazy to have to take it all out if a person has to.

I just want a healthy penis to be honest.

Unfortunately, We're 99.99% sure Loria injected your penis with silicone oil. We have been seeing more and more of these cases and have been working closely with some "higher-ups" to get this widespread problem rectified (silicone oil is banned but Loria and his trainees have been getting away with using it by calling it other things, as you experienced when he told you it was collagen) but it has been slow-going.

I ran your case by Dr. Morganstern and he said while it could be a number of things, it does sound like the silicone has possibly migrated into other parts of your body, or it could maybe be an infection being housed by the silicone itself, which is another common case we have started seeing with Loria's "treatments." I'm also going to reach out to Dr. Carney to see what his opinion is on your case, but he is working urological trauma surgery at the hospital this week, so please be patient with his response.

Dr. Morganstern would like to examine you since he and Dr. Carney have so much experience with these cases and have the expertise and tools necessary to properly diagnose what's actually going on. You need a thorough urologic exam along with testing and Duplex Doppler ultrasound to know for sure what the problem is. Whether it's us or someone else, you really need to be seen by a good urologist who has plenty of knowledge and prior experience in this arena. I don't want to cause any undue alarm since again, it could be a number of things, but you need to be seen sooner rather than later by a specialist because if it IS the silicone, you are at high risk. Silicone oil stays in the body forever and after some time begins to migrate and harden, sometimes causing necrosis, or even organ failure.

Also, the pain comes and goes. If I take antibiotics and anti inflammatorys for a few days the pain seems to go away. Some days it’s just fine and some days it almost feels like a uti.

Nonetheless, I definitely wanna come see someone knowledgeable in person asap.

This is completely out of left field and by all means keep looking into the stuff you are looking into but just from personal experience I have had all of those symptoms in the past and it turned out to be kidney stones
