It seems with so much information learned over a decade+ regarding the cannula-vs-needle debate, it seems largely
preferential. If maybe an Injector trained with one versus the other, they may very well stick with it due to comfort. While it is seemingly clear now that needles are efficacious in their uses for penile filler injections, I wouldn't fault some Injectors who opt for cannulas in their belief that it enhances the safety, even if negligibly. The way the filler is dispersed via cannula or needle can also be part of why I've concluded that this topic is ultimately a matter of Injector preference.
When seeking out a Practitioner,
go with vetted Injectors & Physicians first,
because both the quality of work and safety are going to be guaranteed, irrespective of their actual cannula-vs-needle preference. And in trusting a vetted Injector, don't request they use the device opposite of what they normally use (example: requesting a needle injector to use a cannula instead), because while they likely are capable of using both, their main preference is what they've mastered and will ensure you get optimal results.
