If you wish to stay in the U.K. (or Europe),
PMMA will not be optional.
Hyaluronic Acid (
HA) is a good starting point and you may end up liking it long-term if you don't mind the annual top-offs which aren't so bad really. Strong safety profile and reversible to some extent. Dr. Greta (of
Androfill) is going to be our next
Featured Spotlight on the front page and she's been getting good results with her technique.
There is
Ellanse in Europe as well, which is supposedly temporary but seems to last quite a long time (the problem is, no one really knows how long), and so how long it lasts for you would be hard to predict -- it's only major advantage being that it builds
Girth akin to
PMMA without the permanency of its microspheres.
I'd recommend having a consultation with Dr. Greta (or Francis) and get a feel for what to expect;
PMMA is only worthwhile if you are simply unhappy with
HA and can make the logistical & financial commitments of having to travel to North America at least 2 or 3 times depending on your goals & outcomes. As Justn8 pointed out,
HA can be a viable option in terms of firmness, based both on the product itself (some
HA's are cross-linked to be more robust) and where it is injected -- hence why I recommended
Androfill's Dr. Greta in this regard.
