Has anyone had success with either shockwave therapy, or Kenalog for Bellafill nodules? Those of you who had to have surgery, was it successful? Expensive? Are you happy with the outcome?

If you use the SEARCH Tab you'll find the term "Kenalog" brings up a lot of results. You may not necessarily need shockwave therapy OR Kenalog for nodules, it largely depends on the nature, size, and location of the nodules that may best determine its resolution (i.e. photos would help a lot).

Nodule Removal is seldom surgical, things like punch-incisions and the use of other techniques can fix the problem depending on its severity. Fortunately, nodules (not to be mistaken with granulomas) are just aesthetic nuisances and don't affect the function or health of the penis.

Certainly larger than usual nodules, but very fixable. What has your Injector said on the matter, I would consult with them fist in terms of treatment options.

The nodules are finally no longer painful so that’s a relief. I just left my injectors office. She injected saline into the nodules and massaged the area. Her plan is to do this 2-3 times if we need to and she wants to wait about 6 months before considering Kenalog. She says Kenalog can leave indentations and cause symmetry issues.

I asked her about shockwave therapy and she didn’t know much about it but seemed to think it couldn’t hurt to try it.I may schedule that but would like to learn more about it.

I can see this is going to take some patience. I just get pretty anxious at times worrying it’s permanent. Fortunately my lady is very supportive, although she did admit, after much prodding, that if she just met me she would be worried the nodules were an STD and that no other explanation but the truth that I had a procedure would be acceptable to a woman.

For now I’ll keep massaging and see how these saline treatments help. I’m just thankful
