TOPIC: I’m scheduled for HA in 1 week. What do I do now!?

I’m scheduled for HA in 1 week. What do I do now!? 2 weeks 22 hours ago #1308719428

Im setup to get PhalloFILL in Dallas with Mr. Moore in about a week.

Has anyone put together a guide on what to do leading up to the procedure or how to care for yourself afterwards?

For example are there supplements to start taking or stop taking. I’ve heard people take collagen. Is there a good brand that people usually use?

Are their special devices or things that I should have ready to help my recovery or improve my results? Like I’ve seen people mention King ring but I’m not sure I could get that in time, or special pillows for sleeping, clothing.

I’ve seen people recommend buying extra silicone tubing because it can tear. Is there a link floating around to a good product to buy?

Obviously the clinic will give aftercare instructions, I curious about going the extra-mile, or lessons-learned from other peoples procedures. “I wish I know this the first time” type of stuff.

There is an abundance of pre-op preparation topics throughout the forum, but not all of them necessarily apply to Hyaluronic Acid (HA), and therefore may not be optimal in your instance. That said, doing some SEARCH functions or browsing the Forum(s) may have you stumble upon relevant topics that can point you in the right direction.

For starters, anything that can inhibit recovery, like smoking or alcohol, ought to be cut out now and through recovery. You have to ask yourself what's more important, a fatter hog or life's simple vices that can wait 4-6 weeks? In addition, hydration, collagen-boosting nutrition (or supplements), and an overall healthy diet is a always going to be a plus.

Hopefully other users who have had HA (whether via PhalloFILL or others) can chime in.

Hopefully I can get the Dallas @PhalloFILL location to chime in on pre-op supplements, preparation, etc.

I'm positive they will have you filled in on post-op protocols with all the necessary information before you leave their Clinic.

As skeptical one said…. Not all fillers are the same and the instructions are not the same for each.

You will be receiving HA Dermal Filler in Dallas (from me, William) as you already know. There is absolutely nothing to take prior to a HA Dermal Filler injection such as collagen. (Maybe that’s recommended for PMMA because it builds collagen… nodules).

Two things you could take would be bromelanin and/or oral arnica. But these only reduce your chance of bruising and don’t prevent it. And you are going to have your sleeve on for 3 weeks so bruising has never bothered anyone. Bruising doesn’t hurt. We don’t recommended it but we wouldn’t discourage it. It just isn’t necessary.

I recommend everyone stop smoking. If you can stop smoking for the time it takes to have Girth enhancement then don’t start back….. but yes your body heals better if there is no smoking… However…. there is barely any healing with this procedure. It’s a few needle sticks. I would not stop you from having the procedure nor would I worry if you didn’t stop smoking.

Please don’t follow any suggestions for post care like this “king ring”. I want you to only do what I instruct you to do. There is nothing for you to purchase ahead of time.

And as far as the sleeve, I changed the material a few months ago. They no longer tear. I have not heard of one tearing since I switched. And you can’t order the sleeve online. I designed and patented it and they are only available for PhalloFILL providers. We can discuss an extra one when you come in the clinic.

Looking forward to meeting you. Safe travels.

Bradonline1984 - I’m a current patient of William at PhalloFILL in Dallas and have had 2 rounds of HA there. Listen to William and follow his aftercare instructions, especially wearing the sleeve he provides. 3 weeks may seem like a long time but it is very important to wear it the whole time. It will help with swelling, keeping you extended, and shaping while you heal. I used the arnica tablets which helped with bruising. I did not do anything else to prepare other than losing some weight. You’ll be nervous but you’ll be fine. IMO you’ve made a great choice. Good luck!

I had the procedure yesterday. Mr. Moore was fantastic, he really calmed my nerves quickly—I think without even him realizing he was.

I don’t think I’ve bruised much, but it’s difficult to say with the sleeve on. The swelling went down very very quickly.

Everything’s been going good so far.
