I've been fighting sensitivity issues for approximately 8 years now. Im 46 and have a healthy sex life but the gratification / sensation is diminished by 50%. I can still perform and I don't have an issue with PE or finishing. I'm scheduled for PMMA at Avanti in March. I was hoping there was a chance sensitivity would increase with the procedure. I've read a few posts where that seemed to be the case. Looking for input from those that have had a Girth enhancement procedure.

Personally, I did not notice any difference for myself.
But I could probably see where if your partner was particularly tight, your increased Girth would change how it feels on yourself.

I agree with timid-newbies observation; most patients don't notice any change in sensitivity, whether it's an increase or decrease. However, a few have reported heightened sensitivity, which I suspect may be due to increased friction. Nonetheless, I wouldn't recommend seeking Girth enhancement specifically for this effect. While a potential increase in size could be seen as an added benefit, it's not a guaranteed outcome. It's important to consult with your primary care physician as well, since changes in sensitivity can result from various factors.

My goal would be size increase. Added sensitivity would be a bonus. This question was derived out of curiosity. I had a visit with my Urologist. He used a sharp object and poked at me in various places. I confirmed that I could feel every poke so he basically told me there was nothing wrong with me. I mentioned possible nerve damage from pumping and he said highly unlikely. I told him I read that nerve damage from pumping can happen and he basically ignored me and said pumps are safe and he couldn't see that happening. It's an embarrassing subject for me so I never looked for a 2nd opinion.

You might consider PRP and/or Shockwave therapy to help with the loss of sensitivity. Probably be a good idea to check your testosterone levels too. If you are on an antidepressants that may also lead to sensitivity loss, although that can improve by weaning off the medication, under doctor's supervision of course.

On TRT so my test levels are good. SHBG is in the mid 20'. Estrogen is a tad high but not high enough for me to consider anti E's. No anti depressants. I'll look into shockwave more. Haven't researched it for a couple years now but from what I remember all shockwave therapy isnt the same. Next question would be whether or not I'd be a candidate after PMMA. I'll have to search that up here or message Avanti for input.

How often do you watch porn? And I would say that also being in my mid-40's, I've noticed a slight dip in sensitivity too.
I would focus on my health and consider natural supplements and not so much on the procedure.

Just poking with a sharp object is not sufficient testing for neuropathy, for example you might feel pain but not vibration. There are different types of neuropathy---a neurologist at an academic center might be most helpful. Also try not to be embarrassed. We all have genitals and sex is an important part of the human experience. Nothing wrong with looking after that part of your health.

Solid advise - I do believe some of it may be to over exposure to porn and possibly burnt myself out a bit with sex but that drive could also be diminished because the the reward isn't what it used to be. My diet could be better but it could also be much worse. I'm careful with introducing supplements into my diet due to a particular health problem and medications.

I agree, I was truly disappointed with that visit. I'll muster up the courage and look into seeing a neurologist. Thank you for your input!

Prolactin? Grab PT141, see what it does for your sensitivity and strength of orgasm. If it makes a significant difference, prolactin may be out of wack (P5P is your friend here).

The HA I had way back in if anything made me slightly more sensitive.

Prolactin is within range. Had it tested because I thought I had a Dopamine deficiency which could cause prolactin to rise.

If you've never tried PT141 you might find it entertaining while it lasts. It won't restore your sensitivity issue long term though.

I tried it a few times. Caused the most uncomfortable flushing I've ever experienced. No added function or libido noted.

I guess everyone can react differently. I don't get an flushing or nausea but I do get spontaneous erections like I'm going through puberty again, and hard to point of being borderline uncomfortable, and that last for a hr or more. But it takes 3 or more hrs to kick in for me. The Cialis and tadalafil I've tried didn't seem to have much of an effect on me.
