Hello all,

I have an appointment scheduled at Avanti Derma for a PMMA procedure in the next two weeks. Although I have already communicated with Avanti Derma to clarify some questions, I thought it would be helpful to share my concerns here and possibly gain insights from your experiences. After the procedure, I plan to keep a progress report to share my journey, which might be of interest to some of you.

Here are a few areas I would like clarification on:

1. Medication and Retraction Concerns:
I have been managing ADHD with Dexamphetamine since childhood, which sometimes leads to penile retraction. Avanti Derma suggested using a Zen Hanger to address this issue and pausing the medication for the initial week post-procedure. However, I am curious about the recommended six-week recovery period. The forum discussions indicate that PMMA settles within 3 to 7 days, so why is a six-week timeframe advised?

2. Procedure Revisions:
From my understanding, achieving desired results often requires 2 to 3 sessions, maybe an additional one for aesthetic Revision. What is the advisable gap between these sessions? While I am aiming to complete all necessary procedures within 18 weeks, I am open to recommendations that ensure safety and effectiveness.

3. Phallotox Recommendation:
Due to my retraction issues, Phallotox was recommended. Cost isn’t a concern, but I'm curious about the comparative benefits of Signature vs. Utmost options, and any potential complications. For instance, I’ve ruled out Glans enhancement with HA due to associated risks. Any insights on this?

4. Doctor Selection:
Is there a choice in selecting a doctor for the procedure or is it typically handled by a singular physician, like Dr. Morales who seems to be frequently mentioned here?

5. Resuming Exercise:
When is it safe to resume weightlifting post-procedure? I haven’t discussed this with Avanti Derma yet, but I’m sure there are fitness enthusiasts here who might have some advice.

Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences and suggestions. Your insights will be immensely helpful in navigating this journey.

1. Medication and Retraction Concerns:
I think first 3 days are most important, not sure about 6 weeks

2. Procedure Revisions:
They say to wait 3 months or longer between sessions, i eg had 1 year between a session

3. Phallotox Recommendation:
I recommend using forum search for 'phallotox' in the content to find more stuff
I also wouldnt do glans with current technology.

4. Doctor Selection:
Don'totally understand the question. With AvantiDerma Dr M does the procedures, Dr C went into permanent holiday.

5. Resuming Exercise:
Let them answer, i don't even think that is an issue after like a week

Thank you for responding to all the questions. To share more about my journey, I've created a thread detailing my progress report.

I took your advice on board and followed through with all the recommendations, except for the glans fillers. Everything proceeded without any issues, and I was able to resume exercising after five days.

On medication, it sounds like the medication you take causes you retraction. Which I dealt/deal with, generally. So I think it makes sense for them to suggest that you do not mix it with the meds they'll give you because the goal is for the product to settle evenly/smoothly. I took take supplements (for mind/function, and for weight lifting, as suggested by Huberman), and besides losing some mass and gaining a bit of flabbiness, I was able to regain looking solid within a few weeks after week 3 and back to my exercise schedule no problem. As for the retraction itself, I wore my ball stretcher consistently for about 6 weeks to help ensure a great end result. I bought collagen (for collagen production - although the consensus is mixed on this, and talafadil - which helped with maintaining blood flow; it's like a less prescribed alternative to viagra) while I was in TJ and it was a good decision, since the guys on here say that it really helped with healing and achieving solid results. For the Hanger, I wore it while walking mostly and when working from home while standing (have a standing desk). This is by far the most important thing you can do during those first couple of weeks, keeping it stretched. I know some guys on here have complained that the product would bunch up and you end up with a series of lumps. Just be consistent, that's what I learned overall. And be careful that the frequent use might cause some sensitivity and sting for a bit around the glans and shaft. To resolve this, I used pieces of their wrapping tape to wrap around the part where the noose hangs because it will irritate your skin those fist couple of weeks.
Regarding Phallotox itself, that was/is the best thing to deal with retraction. I highly recommend you go with the option that includes this. This is because, if you are dealing with retraction, the product might migrate to just one area of the shaft instead of the areas where they took the time to inject it evenly across the shaft. I think the difference between their two options is that with the ultimate package, you get a really hunky looking member for about a week, which is a real confidence booster. I would say, though, that the swelling process partly contributes to that. DO NOT be alarmed by day 3-5 on just how huge your sack will look. It's common and should be expected. All that to be said, the glans and sack enlargements are only temporary and complimentary to enlargement of the shaft. After a week of riding that high with a monster bulge for me, they went back to their normal state and I was left with a thick shaft. I don't think that there's a longer term solution to retraction - some guys pop sex pills at a low volumes but I would caution against that and just focus on light stretches and re-using the ball stretcher every now and then.
Regarding exercise, I had the same question and Ian recommended I wait about 3 weeks before going hard at the gym again. To help offset that, I just took longer walks and did light weight exercises, about 80% less than what I would typically lift on a normal weight training day. But honestly, it's best to just focus on after-care and maintenance during those 3 weeks and accept that is just a temporary pause on routine. And if you get restless, focus on walking. I did a lot of that and just tuned out with some podcasts and music. I think the one thing people didn't/don't mention enough on here is how obsessed you become right after the procedure. For me, I was thinking and treating my member incessantly. Even on the first 3 days of doing the microwave heated rag molding sessions around the clock, it became a routine to just focus strictly on maintaining that smooth end result you are left with after leaving Avanti Derma. I thank Texas for that! His thread on Aftercare was really my playbook going into this. And except for the shelf area I'm dealing with (I had a Circumcision done a few years ago in prep for this), I have a really smooth and consistently thick shaft with no lumps/nodules whatsoever.

For the doctor, there's only one person there and she's phenomenal, take it from all the guys on here who've mostly raved about her.
Do yourself a favor and use the search bar. It helped me overall understand peoples experiences and tips. I would say that the Aftercare thread is a really good read, and like Dream wrote, there's more info on here about Phallotox should my response not be what you were looking for, as far as concerns.

Best of luck!
