I'm just trying to understand the rationale a bit more. I got my enhancements done because I was smaller than average and wanted to be bigger, but I also personally don't really want it to be super obvious that I got work done when all is healed and I would imagine most feel the same way? Or is it that a lot of folks just don't give a shiz that others find out and the intent is just to be as large as humanly possible for other reasons.

A few things to consider for those who do choose to go very big: Many men are in long-term relationships and/or happily married, the aesthetics are of no consequence when the goal is to provide more sexual stimulation, and added
Girth provides that. These men aren't seeing multiple partners and their significant other is usually aware of the decision and ultimately benefits from it.
Another reason would be for those who have always desired to achieve a certain benchmark that they otherwise couldn't achieve through PE exercises (e.g. pumping,
Hanging,
Clamping, etc.). They are willing to sacrifice some aesthetics if it means hitting that "coveted 6-
Inch circumference."
Some may be suffering from dysmorphia, and in these instances I would not recommend male
Phalloplasty.
Lastly, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the penises you've seen here aren't as obvious to women as they might be to gay men who have seen exponentially as many penises in their lifetime. I personally think most enhanced units on this site can be passable to the unknowing or unsuspecting woman.
There may even be other motivations as well, like alternative lifestyles and such. In the end we may never understand everyone's motivation. What perplexed me for the longest time wasn't why men wanted to go so BIG, but why men of average or above-average endowment even contemplated penis enlargement to begin with. I've learned over the years no longer to judge (not saying you have) and that until I'm in their shoes, I'll simply learn to respect their adult-made decision(s).
I definitely went on "the big side" especially relative to my length. My motivation? I was never going to be the longest she's ever had, but if I can be the "thickest" she's most likely ever going to have, it makes it all the more worthwhile for a variety of reasons. It's like entering the Top 1% realm, where 1 out of 100 people in the room are as thick or thicker than me, and the other 99 aren't. This is not much different than picking up a date in a Porsche 911 knowing that in all likelihood she hasn't been picked up in a nicer car, it's the ambition of achieving whatever competitive edge you can in the dating market. Keeping yourself well groomed, teeth straight & clean, and fashionable are lesser expensive means of the same kind of idea.
