I had a couple taken care of during a visit to Avanti. One was in the circ scar from some microdroplets they put in on a previous visit. They cut it out. The other was in the shaft. They dissolved it with a Kenalog (sp?) shot

Typically it's best to get your performing physician to remove your nodule. They have the most to gain by resolving your issues because they have the most to gain from a happy customer & patient. Furthermore, they have your medical file and are going to be most familiar with how or why your issues came about (e.g. entry points, volume injected, etc.)

If for whatever reason it isn't practical to see the same performing physician again, then seek out a Doctor that has experience in this area. Most PhalloBoards Sponsors have a background in this regard. There is no reason to see a Doctor with no understanding of injectable penis phalloplasty to correct this, they'll likely worsen the aesthetics while scolding you at the same time, I've seen/heard it countless times. If you want any personal recommendations based on your geography and situation, feel free to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

"Do not let anyone cut out Bellafill until all the non surgical options have been thoroughly exhausted". Quote from a doctor that only does faces but I think it applies. I posted on my progress report a quote from this doctor that I think is poignant. Remember with this stuff there is always a good amount risk of developing nodules. You have to be okay with that risk when considering this procedure. If you want to take care of this though I recommend trying the non surgical options first and then taking it from there after a few months of trying. In a few posts you've also mentioned about going back for another round. I caution you that if you developed nodules the first time there is a good possibility you will develop them again even if you inject small quantities. You run the risk of running into the same issue. I developed nodules both rounds and my injections were only 8cc's each.

Here is that doctors quote I mentioned.

I agree that non-surgical options should be exhausted first, and I should have clarified that with my original response. Most treatments that correct nodules are non-surgical in nature, whether it be a punch excision or Kenalog steroids, etc, and I should have been clearer (as in, I didn't mean any sort of de-gloving or invasive surgery, it's almost never necessary).

In your experience dealing with these sponsors which ones have experience with correcting or removing nodules if thats necessary? I know everyone deals with nodules some go away but for others its a big problem maybe if some of those sponsors could chime in on there experience with nodules it will be great

It largely depends on the extent of correction or removal necessary. I believe you may have sent me photos before but I have a huge inbox and don't always remember usernames-to-their-email addresses. If you want to send me those photos again to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so that I can pass them on to some Sponsors and get some opinions, it'll likely be faster that way.

In general, minor revisions can be carried out by the vast majority of this site's Sponsors, Avanti Derma likely being the most experienced. Major revisions (which I don't typically recommend) are likely to be carried out by Urologists or Surgeons, and Rejuvall comes to mind.

But I strongly urge you to try and frame it as revision and not removal in your mind, since not only will it prove to be a healthier attitude moving forward with your progress & recovery, but you'd be surprised how correctable these kind of procedures are (the non-surgical variety).
