TOPIC: Grand vs Marriott

Grand vs Marriott 1 year 8 months ago #1308711578

Has anyone stayed at the Marriott instead of the Grand. Google says it’s like a 500 foot walk to the Grand.

It is further than that. Close to a half mile. But still not a long walk. Maybe 10 minutes

That's where I stayed for both procedures. I liked it enough to go back the second time. Let me know if you have any questions.

It was a short walk. Maybe 5 minutes. The nice part is if you walk five minutes the other way, there are a ton of restaurants. All you can eat Brazilian steakhouse for $14, amazing meals for about 10 bucks, even a Walmart within walking distance

The walk is a lot farther than you think. Ian will want to see you multiple times a day. The Grand is a much better situation in my opinion because you don't have to leave the premises. I've stayed at places closer than the Marriott and still didn't like it. You could deal with rain, the heat, the awkwardness of walking around after just having the procedure done, dealing with keeping it from retracting, etc. My biggest gripe about the Grand is no fridge or microwave.

Just want to chime in here with a point - And plug my after care thread. - A lot more of the docs i speak with, that use long lasting fillers, have begun to use heat while they inject the make the formation of the product easier. I learned this from Dr Carney during all my Ellanse rounds. I then used it religiously on my last two rounds and it made the shaping easier and my mind more at ease to see it shaped better.
With that said, Im sure the grand is convenient. But I will take a microwave over convenience ANY DAY for the best aftercare. And walking after fillers aint SHIT. Walking after a Lig Cut is another story. Throw some fuckign sweats on and the bitch dangle.

As a fan of your thread, Texas, and one who inspired me to get Ellanse, I hear what you're saying. I took your advice (sort of) and purchased gel warmers that are activated without the need for a microwave. I brought them to The Grand but never ended up using them, lol.

I’m Planning to go for my second round in few months, would a electric warmer be recommended ? And have to be massaging with the warmer or is is mostly just resting on the penis?

I took @Texas advice and brought a microwave. But then again I drove in. I feel like it made a world of difference. My members pretty smooth from what I can tell, going on 11 days today. It would make sense for the hotel to offer one (maybe at a premium?) or if there's a walmart nearby to grab one from there. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I really do trust @Texas 's advice on this one. I know it's not an efficient way to deal with the issue for most of you who fly in, but I don't think there's any other product out there that would come close. The only other option I would consider is some sort of water/tea kettle that you could use to get your water boiling hot and poured over a rag. When I used the rag, I'd get it as hot as I could possibly take and then wrap the rag over my shaft until it became slightly warm enough where I could begin my massaging session. I also placed the rag on the counter and would place my shaft over the rag and performed the massaging/manipulation that way. Having a stable, flat surface underneath made a difference for me because I was able to use both thumbs and alternate with stretching my shaft with one hand while massaging with the other.

I told the Grand I had medication that needed to be refrigerated and a fridge was waiting in my room when I got there. Still no microwave though.
