I often wrote that I don't think this is a good surgery. There are many board members, myself included, who have done the surgery. I would not say that I had any complications myself, and I did not see others mention that they had complications.

There is however risk of some complications: penile shortening (buffer is used to prevent this), loss of penile stability (supposedly caused by too aggressive cutting of the suspensory ligaments), and changed Erection angle (reported to be minor). Second, gains tend to be small, unpredictable and only when Flaccid. Some had big gains, even during Erection, but it is definitely far from the norm.

Do you think you can get the same Erect gains through just using an extender?

It is possible, but it is very unlikely. It is also unlikely that you will get Erect gains from Ligamentolysis, but it is not unheard of, although Ligamentolysis is a procedure to get Flaccid gains.

Doctor Loria from Loria medical does a few different lengthening procedures that I’ve heard good responses from. He is a bit expensive but the man is very talented. He will give you what you’re looking for aesthetically but keep you looking normal … if that makes sense.

Dr. Loria is not a surgeon and therefore should not be performing any sort of procedure that involves general anesthesia and scalpels. More so, his recently introduced LEEP (sp?) procedure is basically an inverted Penuma implant and I can't begin to tell just how reckless it is in design alone. Reminder, this man is not a Urologist, not a Reconstructive Urologist, not an Andrologist, and not a Plastic Surgeon.

Lengthening procedures (also known as Ligamentolysis) can be quite hit or miss. Much of it depends on your inner penile anatomy and some guys gain more than others. Flaccid length tends to get the most benefit, and the real challenge is following weeks/months of stretching in order to cement your lig gains.
