1) Hey all, I have been lurking on this forum for quite some time now and I have finally come to the conclusion that I will be going with PMMA instead of Loria. I am currently trying to decide between going with Rupeka, Morales or Carney.

Notes: I like that fact that Rupeka is in the US and his procedure (using Bellafill) is more affordable of the two US doctors. However, his B&A gallery is quite small which gives me a strange vibe. Doctor Morales has been doing this for a while and is co-authored on one of the only studies on PMMA for penile augmentation, but getting the procedure done in Mexico is scary because you don't have some of the protections or assurances provided by getting the procedure done in the US (are there any protections?). And finally, Carney has the highest price of the three but I don't know much about his work either.

If anyone has life experience or would care to share their comparison of the three or even compare two of these doctors; I would greatly appreciate it.

2) If anyone has any incite or reference material as to the efficacy and long-term patient outcomes between Linnea and Bellafill; I would greatly appreciate that.

While I'll let others chime in, I will make a few observations:

1. Good choice on avoiding Loria.

2. Dr. Rupeka operates the Youthology Med Spa, and so they perform a wide variety of cosmetic services, not penises exclusively. This may explain their limited gallery. Suneva (Bellafill's manufacturer) claims he's the #1 injector of their filler, which tells me he's got the skillsets necessary to provide quality results.

3. I honestly don't know the extent of any "protections" within Mexico other than that it never seems to come up because of the very non-surgical outpatient nature of the procedure. In other words, serious complications are so exceedingly rare that this has never been a topic of discussion on the forum spanning over a decade. I think this would be more relevant for surgical procedures (ones requiring general anesthesia) as it would imply more invasive methods. That all said, Dr. Morales was trained by the Godfather of modern Phalloplasty, Dr. Casavantes (now retired).

4. Dr. Carney may be the most expensive because you're also paying for the expertise. He's a Reconstructive Urologist with a background spanning from surgery, trauma/reconstruction, buried penises, Peyronie's Disease, and penis enlargement. Very few people on the planet have his range of expertise while simultaneously offering cosmetic enhancement.

5. The biggest difference between Linnea and Bellafill are their carriers. Linnea has a bio-compatible gel-like carrier that absorbs in days whereas Bellafill's bovine carrier can take weeks to dissipate. Time will tell if this difference is an advantage for either brand.

Thank you for your well thought out response. I really do appreciate the concise information you provided on these topics. I would like to get anecdotal experiences from patients of these doctors if possible. Skeptical_One, did you have a procedure done?

Anavti Derma sells Linneas as a superior product to Bellafill, boasting that it yields less granulation and lump ect in the long term. I don't know if they has any empirical evidence for this, but it stands to reason since Linneas "setting period" may be finished before you have a chance to stop nursing it.

Is there any sources for this information? I wonder if the doctors would weigh on on this?

(Also, is there a way to find attachments/images that a specific member has posted?)

I’ll preface this with I’m a previous patient that’s had a couple sessions with Morales (and have met and talked with Casavantes).

There are countless patient journals on here who have used multiple clinics/practitioners. I can't summarize them all and honestly... I spent the time to dig and read and follow progress for years myself. So I'm not big on providing countless extra summaries for people on an individual basis when there is so much of that available now compared to even when I went in.

Avanti likely would boast Linnea is better in terms of Dick enhancement because for the average patient it frankly is. It's less expensive, the sphere quality is at least as good if not better, the carrier is better suited to people's tendencies to be lazy and also having to live their lives (it absorbs quicker meaning less time babysitting). They also can boast that because, and maybe a practitioner can correct me if I'm wrong, they have very likely injected more penises than any other single clinic on the planet. They definitely have done the most with PMMA (and possibly Ellanse). And their experience and patient numbers of Linnea vs any that have done Bellafill is likely at least a few multiples.

This will sound like I'm being a Dick. But the reality is there are more documented cases of Linnea patients available than most else. Casavantes is one of the only ones to actually publish a peer reviewed PMMA paper to my knowledge in terms of Girth augmentation. Casavantes has almost single handedly done more to make this 'less scary' than any one else.

Now you have all these other great practitioners advancing things. Oates seems awesome. Listen to his Podcast. There's others, I just don't really follow the absorbing temp filler side of things. I've read some sketchy experiences of one Bellafill practitioner (not one of the ones Skeptical has mentioned to be clear). But that comes down to more of an assembly line style of the American cosmetic industry.

This is long winded. But do whatever you have to in order to gain access here to everything and go to the old 2.0 forum to just browse (I find the layout superior... Sorry Skeptical lol). And just read through experience threads.

The earliest PMMA patient on here has even posted recently that he's healthy and fine.

You're going to either have to just dig and read and research or trust one person giving you every bit of info on a platter.

And whichever route you go, definitely do not expect 'perfect' or some idea of some exact Dick you want to possess. It's gradual enhancement, or should be, and in my case I've always been about function so I'm easy to please.

I'll add one thing to the above.

If I could have access to a practitioner local, like Toronto, who could do Bellafill and had a high level of experience for a price that is at least in the same galaxy as Linnea down south, I'd not only drive there, I'd likely have already had a few rounds simply because of logistics and my point in life.

My reasons for Avanti started with having to travel for anything like this at the time. Once experience and track record was accounted for in addition to Linnea's inherent benefits, and then cost factored in, it was the only logical choice.

But if there was another PMMA option with close to that experience available close to home... That would open me up to an alternative possibly.

So I loop back to what I said. Read everything you can. Research for yourself and examine other's experiences at various places.

Linnea Safe is more affordable and has a higher percentage of PMMA. 30% vs 20% for Bellafill so you'll see more gains in addition to it being cheaper. I would bet Carney is the most experienced and probably the most skilled at this. Morales is really good but Carney has been in the game longer. I'm sure Rupeka is good as well. Casavantes has written about why he loves Linnea Safe over Bellafill. It was a no brainer for him. If it was approved here in the US, the US doctor's would use it.

The US isn't giving you any protections my friend. Guys worrying about Mexico being a bad place are worrying for no reason. There are bad doctors there like there are here. Morales and Avanti isn't one of those operations. I'd put a lot of money on the US having way more cases of penises getting jacked up bad.

I'm considering Bellafill only due to the fact Carney (and Rupeka?) Seem to welcome doing it for Ellanse patients. At some point I'll probably want to go with permanent filler because Ellanse is expensive compared to Linnea Safe (and Bellafill considering Bellafill is permanent). As far as I know, it's Avanti's practice not to inject PMMA into penises which have Ellanse. We don't have any reports of an Ellanse patients getting PMMA yet to my knowledge and it will be interesting to hear how this goes. But if you look at facial studies, I'm sure it's been done before.

Justn8 it seems like you might favor Bellafill over Linnea. If that is true in your earlier post why is that?

flyskata: I think it's a logistical issue for him. He's just saying if Bellafill was offered for the penis near where he lives in Canada, he'd choose that over having to fly to Mexico. Like mentioned before, there's no real difference in quality of the PCL microspheres. As Skeptical mentioned, they have different carrier gels. One last longer than the other. The longer lasting carrier in Bellafill doesn't produce a drop in gains 2-3 weeks after procedure because it's still there providing volume while your body is producing collagen. The faster absorbing Linnea Safe gel causes a slight drop (some guys don't notice), and then what seems like a quicker ramp up of collagen production. The end results appear to be the same though per cc. Ellanse is similar to Bellafilll in terms of carrier longevity. The idea for these companies is to promote an instant lift or result instead of patients having to wait for collagen to build. But it's not like Linnea Safe patients have to wait very long. There could be an argument perhaps that the gel gets in the way of your body effectively producing collagen during a time when it can do it the best. I don't think there's good science on that. I don't think gel longevity in this instance has anything to do with getting a more aesthetic result or being able to mold the product more or less.

Again, the other difference is percentage of PCL in each 1cc syringe. Dr. C loved the fact that you could combine 30% and 10% Linnea Safe syringes during a procedure in order to fine tune placement. The PCL spheres in Bellafill make up 20% of the syringe so you get less and are paying more.

No, I absolutely would not prefer Bellafill. Linnea simply is better for this application.

However... If the cost was comparable and Bella was available across the street I'd be getting Bella. If we're in fantasy land and both Bella and Linnea were available across the street, I would choose Linnea every time.

What about whether the penis feels natural or not after it’s settled down? A few notable members on here who have went to Morales got a mixture of 10% and 30% had good experience, but did say they wished Avanti offered 20% because the penis would not feels so hard when it was Flaccid. These guys said this constant hardness that you feel makes the penis feel unnatural. They also go on to mention that 30% itself is too hard and 10% seems too soft.

Linnea also causes temporary swelling for quite a while in guys after the procedure due to its chemical makeup compared to Bellafill and this temporary swell is happening at a critical time when you’re trying to massage and mold everything to look natural, which is hard to do with all that swellling and you don’t know what’s going on underneath all that swelling. This swelling has been mentioned by the guys on the forums. I think a lot of guys are missing this important point in the posts especially if they haven’t had any procedure done yet. This swelling or lack there of, is what can make or break it with your penis having a natural shape in the end.

A lot of the guys who talk about swelling on the forum are usually referencing bouts of swelling post-sex or post-masturbation. Swelling immediately after a procedure is quite common among all procedures, and varies person-to-person with respect to intensity & duration. In other words, Bellafill or Linnea Safe, you may very well deal with bruising & swelling regardless of filler, doctor, or technique -- it's a natural response to a procedure (which your body interprets as injury because you were poked a number of times). I had my Wisdom tooth pulled and hardly had any swelling, but I know of instances where people's faces would balloon and require icepacks for days, our body's response and tolerance(s) vary person-to-person.

Are you referring to the carrier gel? Did you read a study on swelling when the product is used in the face? There's no reason to think the makeup of the carrier gel would be more inflammatory. Has a doctor told you this? It'd be pretty hard to come to this conclusion simply by reading progress reports involving the two products. There are a lot of variables that go into how much a guy swells after the procedure.

I agree and I should have also pointed this out. There is no indication (much less a plausible theory) as to why the Linnea Safe carrier would carry a higher severity of swelling post-op. As I pointed out in my last post, the degree in which you swell and bruise varies patient to patient. Even if there were some difference because of carriers, it would be negligible in light of having had needles poked in and around your penis for the good part of an hour.
