Any kind of change can take some effort to get used to. The
Urologist told me that many guys who never had any
Phalloplasty or
Phimosis have some of their meatus exposed. I read on some forums, and it seems it is indeed the case for many guys.
This is also how I learned that there are whole communities dedicated to stretching the
Foreskin! And many of those people had
Circumcision, but after rigorous stretching for a very long time, supposedly many of them were able to restore their
Foreskin. It is pretty hard to believe, but at the same time the
Foreskin is very elastic. As long as the
Circumcision left some
Foreskin, it seems that those people can stretch it gradually.
And yes, I feel very uneasy about the idea of
Circumcision, even before when the
Phimosis was severe. One guy here who got
Phimosis after
HA, it seems he got
Circumcision right away. I was also convinced for a long time that I would need it, but from what I read online, it seems like almost everyone can cure
Phimosis with enough time, effort and possibly some steroid cream to help the process.
Finally, I would like to say that it is a lot to deal with at the same time: first
Phimosis, then when that looks much better, I find out that the meatus is now exposed. Of course after surgery one also has different sensation like sudden pain or localized pain somewhere, which can also be worrying, of course.
I believe the meatus being exposed also made the penis look slightly shorter, because if there is a lot of
Foreskin at the tip of the penis, it will add the perception of length. Naturally it got me worried too that the penis is shrinking, but I remind myself to think logically and not let my imagination get the best of me.
It is great to be part of this community, and even to get a response can be such a huge relief, when one is alone and worrying about many things. Then someone with similar experiences give their opinion. It is really a tremendous help to cope with the whole process.
