Collagen supplements?
November 1st, 2022 12:55 UTC #1308709393 I’ve heard some guys that got PMMA talk about collagen supplements during the healing process. Any advice or knowledge on what collagen supplements work best?

I can tell you that it's going to be hard to find someone that can verify that it does indeed help. Bc the only way to really prove it would be to establish a baseline of gains with supplements and gains without. And since everyone reacts differently it'll be hard to establish that baseline. That said I'm big into working out so my mindset is if you have the money take it. It can't hurt. I've used bpc-157, tb-500, igf. These are injectable peptides. I've also supplemented with collagen, my normal vitamins, protein, aminos, joint supps, pump supplements, etc.
If I were you. Get some collagen. It's pretty cheap. Eat a healthy diet. Don't smoke.

Not a dr and this is not medical advice but if I ever do PMMA or Ellanse I would do high dose vitamin C through an IV for the first 6 weeks 1x per week. Vitamin C stimulates collagen production but you can only tolerate so much orally before you shit it out. IV route is much more effective. That said, you need a blood test to make sure this won’t have an adverse effect.

If you have the time, go searching over at
PhalloBoards 2.0 , there were tons of comments on people sharing their supplement ideas for before AND after their procedures. Obviously run them by your performing physician but a lot of them are just over the counter supplements you can take in general, girth enhancement or otherwise.

November 3rd, 2022 20:49 UTC #1308709423 I take collagen, glutamine, and HMB. There were some interesting studies done about the combination of HMB and glutamine in relation to collagen buildup in wound healing that I believe may be applicable to what happens with subdermal fillers. I'll find those studies again and share soon.

November 4th, 2022 15:22 UTC #1308709439 That would be great if you could share those studies. I didn't even realize taking collagen was a thing. I just thought it was something the body made. I'll look into collagen, glutamine and HMB.

Yeah, I’ve looked into this a lot! When I got microneedling done with a collagen, I started taking a collagen supplement to help with healing, and I really think it made a difference. I went with a hydrolyzed collagen powder—just mixed it into my coffee every morning.

It wasn’t some instant fix, but after a few weeks, my skin felt firmer, and I noticed less dryness. A buddy of mine who got PMMA swore by taking vitamin C with it since it helps collagen absorb better. If you’re thinking about it, I’d say go for a high-quality one without a bunch of fillers.Alexavierx wrote: Yeah, I’ve looked into this a lot!
