TOPIC: aftercare protcol differences

aftercare protcol differences 3 years 1 month ago #1308705330

Hey guys,

in this topic I would like to discuss the differences between the aftercare protocols the clinics provide.
First of all I have to quite SkepticalOne "follow the aftercare protocol of your surgeon as this might be customized to their injection method".

I have experience with the Androfill protocoll and they recommend
to wear supportive underwear for a few weeks
have your p wrapped with a bandage for 3 days, also mold in bandage
Just mold till desired shape is achieved no molding after necessary if the filler doesnt move
no stretcher or anything like that.

Avanti Derma
Wear bandage for one day?
wear stretcher behind the glans attached as much as possible
mold multiple times a day?

Those approaches are different to me, Avanti tries to keep the p stretched where as Androfill doesnt care about the stretched p after the filler has settled (3days).
Can anyone deliver more insights on the Avanti protocol?
I'm 3 weeks post op and dont have any protocol to follow anymore. Is there anything I could do to get improved results 3 weeks out?

Best Regards,
Joytoy

I actually plan to do this for all of my Sponsors: a general guideline from each Clinic regarding post-op protocol. I say "general" because chances are there could be some adjusting/tailoring done for specific patients, and polices are also subject to change. So rather, this would serve as more an educational tool and not something you'd follow note-for-note.

Some things are definitely universal (like keeping entry points clean until they are healed), and others differ (how long wrap is worn, etc.). It would be interesting to see the similarities & differences, but if you get work done, always go with your Clinic's protocol and don't substitute it for what you read here.
This is because
(1) the Clinics here have done numerous patients and understand the importance of crafting the appropriate protocol, even if it differs slightly to others;
(2) and if results were not satisfactory, and you did THEIR protocol, they are going to be much more responsible for the situation in the long run.

I hope to have the post-op protocol as a section under the (currently under construction) www.phalloboards.info/faq by year's end.

@Skeptical_One Thanks for sharing your plans, may you can also add some value to your post and tell more detail about the Avanti aftercare protocol.
Do you have any advice when I go in for round 2? How to keep the unit elongated after the procedure and how many days is it really important

KEEP IT STRETCHED as much as possible after the procedure with a device that only attaches to the head. there are few different versions out there, and they are all comfortable and uncomfortable based on the user . start buying some now and trying them out to see what you like, in my opinion.

How many days do you think you need to keep it stretched, @texas ?

The product sets for the first 48-72 hours. This is the most critical time. Avanti recommends 1 hour 3 times per day minimum.

Texas, for how long you see the stretching as important?

I never really stop. So its more a matter of how hard am I doing it after a procedure, and i think that comes down you and your body. Obviously i would not do it as hard as i would when doing it for PE. I would do it just hard enough to wear penis was not retractable , or just a bit past this.
After a procedure, plan on the next 3 days being the most important with the first being the most. after that, stretching is up to you. But I would continue for at least a week. If you practice PE daily or regularly, then proceed with stretching as you feel comfortable.

Again, Remember, dont fuck with shaft during the crucial period other than when rolling/massaging/reforming etc. and dont use a device that screws with your shaft.
