I have done considerable research on this forum and online and I am having trouble finding any medical studies concerning the longterm safety of the Ellanse filler.

Can someone please explain to me why the filler hasn't been approved for PE in the USA? Also, can someone explain why Ellanse does or does not pose ANY future risks on your reproductive or general health.

I do not want to use the filler if there is any risk of developing some disease or disorder years down the road that may affect my ability to have kids or stay in good health. Any information or links to unbiased research would be greatly appreciated!

I can only offer an opinion, but 1st things first Ellanse is a biodegradable polyester.... If you look up the actual chemical compound it breaks down in the body. So it's not permanent. Unless it like gets in your blood stream which it shouldn't with a good doctor you should be fine. Why isn't it fda approved in the us? Well that I don't know

The resources are not there to justify seeking an approval by the FDA. Hundreds of thousands of dollars would have to be invested in studies and reviews. No one would would make enough from penile augmentation to justify this. The same is true for products like Botox which is why you see so many off label applications.
