Thank you for your response . Once the buffer was taken out , he sutured the penis back to above the pubic bone and the wound was then closed with stitches. There was nothing else put back in the space ( ie no buffer or other material). I was reluctant to push to have anything else put back in there due the problem I recently had. Also , the doctor who removed it was not a PE specialist and wasn’t the same as the doctor who put it in originally. His main priority was to just remove the buffer and solve the discomfort it was causing.
Nevertheless I did ask him, should I expect shortening or need to do any stretching? I was told there shouldn’t be any shortening as he sutured the penis to just above the pubic bone.
So far from looking at my swelling, I can’t see any obvious shortening, however yes maybe some stretching would help to prevent retraction.
