Also I saw someone mention that if you only retained little less than half” on first round the second round may yield better? Obviously case by case basis just wondering if that is true in several cases
There is no way I can tell. A lot of the immediate gains aren't just from the carrier of the filler, but the swelling. While the bulk of your swelling is likely gone now at 7 days, there is no telling if a tiny bit of swelling persists, which can skew measurements this early on (especially when we are talking fractions of an
Inch here).
And like you said, it is case by case. While there are a lot of similarities in the recovery & growth stage, they are not all identical. Some have gained on the high end of the spectrum, some have gained little toward the bottom of the spectrum - but you will see absolutely see modest gains after your first appointment regardless. A lot of variables and factors at play to say anything with certainty 7 days out post-op. In the end just go with
Avanti Derma's projection of a 1/2 to 3/4
Inch projection and don't think much of it till you hit the 6 week mark.
Avanti Derma typically projects a 1/2
Inch to 3/4
Inch gain and so you aren't likely to go any lower than 1/2
Inch. This is still pretty substantial when you compare any two cylindrical objects where one is a half-
Inch larger in circumference than the other. You may very well dip some size post-swelling and continue to see some growth through neocollagenesis, so it is plausible your 3/4
Inch size may hold in the end.
That all said, I strongly recommend taking two mental approaches in the next 5 weeks:
(1) Keep gain expectations low. In other words expect to be ever so slightly under or over a 1/2
Inch increase in circumference. This way there is no disappointment, you got what you expected, and a huge bonus if you got more.
(2) Take your last measurements soon after you read this post, both
Flaccid &
Erect if possible. Then literally wait out the full 6 weeks (5 remaining) before you take your next measurement. People who measure obsessively often find themselves needlessly creating head-games for themselves, like going going through a roller coaster of excitement and disappointment. What they fail to realize by doing this (i.e. constant measuring) is that they completely ignore the fact that they've successfully gained a permanent & significant increase in
Girth -- AND that it can be added onto in future appointments.
I speak from experience. I learned that constantly dwelling on gains and numbers during a stage (the time between I'm fully healed and the end of 6 weeks post-op) where there is nothing I or the Doctor can do was just wasted time & mental energy. Actually, there are some things you can do to improve your results -- if you have any bad habits (especially smoking), quit them at least for the next 6 weeks or so. Up your nutrition intake, and while I'm not sure if there is any merit to collagen supplements with respect to
Girth enhancement, it wouldn't hurt to add them (be sure to find reputable suppliers). Avoid intense UV exposure (tanning beds or nudist beaches) as I've recently learned they can adversely impact
Hyaluronic Acid (
HA), and while I don't know if the true is same for
PMMA, why risk it? At least if you are going to expend time, money, and mental energy, the aforementioned suggestions are a win-win, because either you maximize your gains, and if you don't, you at least made some healthy choices regardless.
If your penis is healing just fine and no new symptoms/side-effects come around, you're now just in a waiting game. Do yourself a favor and take a break from the forum, don't worry about measuring till the 6 week marker (unless you intend on Progress Reporting, which is always appreciated, but not ideal if you find you are the type who may obsess over minuscule or incremental up & down changes in size).
Good luck.
