Personally I'd stop pumping. Personally I'm not convinced of it's value as part of a post op protocol. I'd massage the lump frequently and try and flatten it out. I think using silicone gel sheets is a total waste of time. They are for external scars.

I have PMMA but the principles should be similar... So here's my experience with it. I wasn't a fan of the light pumping after my first procedure and have avoided it since my second. I personally feel that even after the carrier is absorbed, keeping it elongated several times a day (say a stretcher) is more valuable prior to the collagen forming.

I felt the pumping aggravated minor nodules at the injection sites etc and I didn't like the mild after effects.

This time I'm using my stretcher on and off throughout my evenings at home and frequent massage through the day and am quite pleased at 8 days out.

hoddle i was reading in the other forum you used dmso to flatten a PMMA lump, do you reckon that could help my lump and did you use it with paba or just the dmso and bandage wrap?
